I need help with a pool pad in back yard need advice and or step by step help?

i just purchased a above ground pool my husband wants to pour some concrete to suport the weight of the water a friend told me to use bricks and sand. i have no idea what i am doing? dose some one out there know what is the best way to do this? If so could you please help and walk me through it. I want to give my kids the joy of our new pool and do not have the smarts to do it alone could some one help.

You're better off using a base of sand under the pool. This will help protect the pools liner and is more comfortable to stand on in the pool. Bricks and concrete are too rough on the liner.
