In this situation, I agree with the others. There's nothing wrong with having a smaller table if that means that you can stroke comfortably. If this is the size of table that the rooms allows, then that's what you should get. As long as everything about the table is regulation, you're in good shape. Maybe someday, you'll be able to have a room that would accommodate a larger table, but you really don't want to be cramped. isn't it obvious, the 7ft w/ space, or get the 8ft and knock down a wall or two..7 ft with room. If the space is too small for the 8 ft you'll forever be unhappy with the 8 ft.
