What is the maximum score a player can obtain in one break, without his opponent making a mistake to begin with?

Is there a snooker player called shaun murphy?

in snooker it would be 147 if the opponent had not made a mistake.

however if the opponent started with a foul shot and left a free ball,it would be possible to score 155,but this has never been achieved, there have been quite a few 16 red clearances, but the highest score which has been achieved twice is 151.

Pool exprets---please read?

assuming you are talking about snooker the max is 147 and achieved by potting alternate red then black (1+7) each time then the colours
