Why can't i get into any of the yahoo pool rooms anymore?
ichas64651 already gave you the most important facts, so I'll just add that the balls are potted in the following manner: first a player pots a red ball, which remains in the pocket, and then he must pot one of the other colors (yellow, green, brown, blue, pink or black). That ball is then re-spotted on the table and the player tries to pot another red and after it another of the other colors and so on. The "non red" balls are always re-spotted after a pot so long as there are any red balls on the table. Once all the reds are potted, the other balls are potted in the following way: yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black. The number of points a player scores in a single visit to the table is called "a break". In snooker, maximum break is 147. For more information on the game and the snooker players you can visit the official website of the World Snooker Association at http://www.worldsnooker.com/3 major differences in snooker from pool, 1 the playing balls are smaller, 2 the pockets are also smaller, 3 the playing table is much longer and wider then a regular pool tble, If you want to become very good at playing pool, pratice on a snooker table
pool the one who pots 7 balls & eight balls first wins
snooker works on points and penalties
you coul pot more balls and still lose the game or vice verse
Which size pool table do they use in a pool hall a 90" or 7' we want one like in the pool hall?
Thats easy , first read about it n try n make some sense of the game then watch the pro on tv with umpires that calls the fouls n points being made by the players. To try n explain the difference it there is a bunch of things n not that simple. the basics of it is pot a red then a nominated coloured ball then back to red n colour ball again. This computer wont let me create my own table when im on yahoo pool please tell me how to fix it?
well snooker is a much bigger table and in snooker you score points and colour balls come out to the end and the highest break you can get in snooker is 147 and pool you can only do a 7 ball wich i havee done a few timesMore Questions & Answers...
