How to assemble a 12 x 6 snooker table?
Answers:
Of the young snooker players, who stands the best chance of winning a few titles next year?
this job is best left to the experts! the slate is very heavy and specialist tools are required to stretch and tighten the clothSure you might be able to find a book that gives you the basics but; each manufacturer have there own little specific details. Because, all snooker tables are not built alike. Assembling a pool table properly is a ** of a job and a snooker table will just increase the problems 3 or 4 fold. If you want a table that's going to play well, you really need to get a profession installer .Properly installing a pool, billiards, or snooker tables takes quite of bit of experience.
If you really don't care if the table is going to play well...rails straight, cloth nice and tight, table level, etc. then by all means go for it; but be forwarned you are getting yourself in for a hell of a job. A snooker table is a very expensive piece of equipment..even if you piked it up dirt cheap why rick damaging it. You can always sell it for a nice sum if it's in good condition!
Good luck and happy potting!
find a book somewhere--theres a lot to it !!---the slate is in several pieces and needs to be matched perfectly to the piece it sits next to---you need to melt bees wax into the seams between the pieces --then scrape and sand them down to perfection--the pieces must feel like one piece when you run your hand over them---and thats just a small part of it!--find a book--buy the tools you need--be prepared to make alot of mistakes ----or---hire a professional!!
Why cant i see other peoples proflies when im playing pool, and also click the help button.?
i suggest you bring it over to my house and i'll help you assemble it :DWho do you think are better players?
You need billiards technician. It's just not a DIY thing. This is not an easy process even for novices to attemp. The 4 or 5 pieces of slate need to be perfectly level and also puttied once laid out - this is the hardest part, the rest is a matter of screwing together n knowing where the pieces go. If you ask me i think get someone to do it for you as u dont want to be putting all the effort in only to have it done all over again.
