If you aim low on the ball with your cue at a 45 degree angle, then hit the cue but try to give it a little "pop" that should do it. By pop I mean, do it quick with a little snap, try to have your cue on the ball for as short as time possible.Does anybody know where i can find blueprints on?
you need to strike the ball at he bottom. The further down you strike i the more back spin you put on it. (don't hit it too far down though as it might jump. Try cuing with your hand as flat to the table as possible.The cue ball does need to hit another ball though for it to come back.If you just want to draw it back after contact with a target ball, hit low on your cue ball and use a quick stroke and snap back on your follow through.
If you're trying to just turn the ball without contact with a target ball, you're talking about masse. You'll need to hold your cue at a very steep angle, maybe about 20 degrees from vertical and stroke very quickly.
Position your cue at an angle around 30 degree. Aim a little lower than the centre of the ball and strike

First, you must notice that the cue ball hits another ball not a rail first, rail makes the spin gone.Next, aim low. But don't raise up your cue butt or you'll be end with miscue or fault jumpshot. Make your cue as lower as possible. Use a close stance, don't use an open stance to get the draw shot better.
Third, make your mind. If the object ball is far away from the cue ball aim the cue ball lower or hit it more powerful than a regular stroke. But don't do this two things together, you'll make a miscue.
And the last, don't pull back the cue immediately after it hits the cue ball, let it loose. And please, don't do this shot too much, because this shot makes your aim become a false aim.

hit the cue low (not too low)---and follow through--almost like you are shooting at a ghost ball directly in front of and in contact with the cueball---you must shoot "through" the cue--this will give you great draw

DO NOT "POP" the cue! Just aim low, strike firm but FOLLOW THROUGH!! The key to getting cue ball control is to have a consistant stroke with good follow through. By striking the ball too hard or popping the cue, you risk jumping the cue ball, or worst case scenario hitting the ball too far down and ripping the cloth.

If you are asking how to do a draw shot try this. First of all you must hit the cue ball below center for any draw shot. How far below center depends on 3 things ,how fast the table is, how far you want the cue ball to come back and how far away your object ball is. The further away your object ball is the lower you must hit the cue ball because some of the english will wear off of the cueball before it makes contact. Always use a level stroke. Never raise the back of the cue stick up because that will affect the accuracy of your shot. And last but not least you need a good smooth follow through, any quick jerking motion or snap as they call it can also affect your accuracy especially on a longer draw shot. So to break it down you stroke the cue ball below center , level cue , smooth follow through.
