I remember hearing about these, I think they're reasonably special these days. If memory serves, they were 'production' cues basically endorsed by Walter Lindrum, expert billiards player, made some time around 1900 (very roughly, ballpark figure).

you have a billiards cue not a pool cue ! it is probably 60 - 70 years old and if in good condition could be worth around £70 but there are still a few of them around. the break was a record billiards break at the time but rules have changed since then to make it more difficult.
