How do you make this shot?
How do you get a ball to ride along the rail into the side pocket?
Answers:
What happens if you sink the eight ball and then the que ball? Do you still win?
Dont expect to make it, but EXTREME ENGLISH against the rail it would have to be rolling into the rail when it gets to the pocket it can be done for a short shot no more than 2-3 inchesvery hard shot
I would try a double hit over that shot
Johnny is right assuming that the object is frozen and the cue is not, at this point inside english and rail first is usually needed. The other way is a stun shot with no english splitting object and rail evenly.
When the object and cue are both frozen to the same rail try a soft to medium stroke with outside english the object ball will then hug the rail in some cases appearing to bounch along the rail multiple times as it rolls down.
Good Luck
PS if both cue and object are frozen to the rail AND to each other the object can be played in the side. Watch the worst movie in the world "Pool Hall Junkies" and see how.
What are billiard balls made of?
Don't you think you guys are being a little harsh about "Poolhall Junkies"? It wasn't all that bad. Anyway, to make a ball ride along the cushion into a corner pocket, all you have to do is aim the shot like any other angled (cut) shot and imagine that the cushion isn't even there. A lot of people will try to give you some fancy formula like "you have to hit the ball and cushion at the same time" or something to that effect. All that does is complicate matters. It's an important shot to master. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.It only took a couple of hours to prove my point.
How do I stop the timer in the game of pool?
Them answers seem a bit confusing...Simple form...
Hit the cueball so it hits the object ball and the rail at the EXACT same time.
