Who makes the finest billiard tables?

It was a legitimate foul and good call. He should of not have acted the way he did/is after realizing what he had done.

How works screw back?

Ya he celebrated too early--we've all been there.

Why cant i ever see the table in yahoo pool?

Two rules apply to this situation.
-------
3.15 COMPLETION OF STROKE
A stroke is not complete (and therefore is not counted) until all balls on the table have become motionless after the stroke (a spinning ball is in motion).
-------
3.42 DEVICES
Players are not allowed to use a ball, the triangle or any other width-measuring device to see if the cue ball or an object ball would travel through a gap, etc. Only the cue stick may be used as an aid to judge gaps or as an aid to aligning a shot., so long as the cue is held by the hand. To do so otherwise is a foul and unsportsmanlike conduct. (Also see Rules 1.3, 1.4 and 2.15)
-------
The shot was not complete since there were still balls in motion. Since the cue stick was not held by the hand before the shot was complete, it does constitute a foul on the 8-ball and loss of game. On a personal note, if you see a legitimate foul being committed, you aren't doing anyone any favors by ignoring it. The right call was made. It is every player's responsibility to know the rules and abide by them. I actually bring a copy of the official rules book with me when I play in tournaments just to resolve these kinds of conflicts. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

I'm about to buy a pool table for my home...what do I need to look for?

Foul! He needs to read the rule book.

18 players ,how do i play byes?

He goofed! As long as the cue ball is in motion the game is alive. Next time (if he wants to celebrate early) tell him to throw his 500-dollar stick on the floor. Like that's gonna happen.
