What is the best way to remove cat scratches from a pool table?
The only part that is damaged is the edge around the top of the table...not the sides or the base. The felt in undamaged. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can actually buy a fill in magic marker thats used for wood. I would try at a hardwood store or a lot of times the furniture stores carry them. They come in differnt colors ( 4 or 5) and you just fill in the scratch marks wipe off the overage and you won't see a thing. I have used them when I had gotten marks on my diningroom server, hard wood floors and a wooden rocking chair.Declaw your cat!
Where can I write to or email Ding. I feel so sorry for the way he was treated.?
OK, first -- prevention. What are you going to do to prevent your cat from scratching up the pool table even more? When we came back from vacation, there was cat vomit on the pool table (thank goodness we remember the cover) and some scratches on the legs. First, my hubby built some pretty saloon-style doors that go all the way to the floor, but up about 4.5 feet. Cats are no longer allowed in the game room, and we had them declawed. Secondly, we used the Old English polish. Worked really well. The scratches weren't that deep, though. Had they been worse, I would have gone to the hardware store and asked about a wood filler for this very purpose.Good luck!
