How is it possible in a game of snooker to pot the yellow ball 4 times in a single break ..?
...and end up making a break of only 8? (Not a trick question; it is possible - I know the answer).

i would guess if you potted the white in the same shot thtat you potted the yellow but i don`t knowyellow (free ball counts as red) , yellow, red, yellow, yellow.
When last red potted was last red.
Then pot no more balls in that break.
Opponent fouls, so take Yellow as 'free ball', then yellow as colour. then pot the last red and yellow again and then yellow again as first colour ball .

I can't see the last red available so I take a free-ball. I will nominate YELLOW. (counts as a red!)
Now I need a colour. I will nominate YELLOW.
The yellow goes back on the spot. Now it's time to clear the colours. I step back to sip my beer and puff my cigarette - then approach the table carmly.
The first colour is YELLOW. I pot the ball and then feel drunk by the alcohol and invade the other table and pot their yellow. I've gone yellow crazy.
Actually please give us the answer! I was told this years ago and I can't remember how it's done. But it is a great question for snooker fans.

Very easy if your opponent gives a foul and you are snookered on the last red. Call yellow as a substitute red for 1pt with the yellow being respotted. Then you simply pot yellow again this time for 2 pts. Follow with the final red for 1pt. You then nominate yellow after it is respotted yet again, and finally, play yellow again.
