Is it possible to straighten my billiards cue?
Question:The tip of my cue is slightly off center, and is bending a bit at the tip due to accidental drops, atmosphere, playing, etc..
Am I just going to have to buy a new stick, or can I get it fixed?

Below is a link to a great site with all types of interesting pool experiments and info, including attempts at shaft straightening.
How long do you run the pool vacuum? How many hours?
I've read about hanging a cue by the tip to straighten. I have not tried it myself but would imagine that it would take some time to have an effect. another option might be talking to a cue maker about making a new shaft for your cue, as the butt end of the cue usually isn't the problem.Regular question, common answer is no. If the curve is not too great then mentally dealling with the warp is your greatest hurdle.
In pool, what is the most rails you can hit with one shot?
It is possible to fix a warped shaft but it probably won't hold. If you really like your cue though I would recommend just buying a new shaft. You can either contact the company or dealer that sold you the cue or have one made by a reputable repairman. It will probably be about the same price as having your old shaft fixed but it will last a lot longer . Good luck to ya!More Questions & Answers...
