Is snooker fixed ?
How does snooker fit exactly into tv schedules?
Answers:
In snooker, a player has potted a red, and on the next shot plays for a red, and pots it too...?
I doubt it.Snooker is a billiards sport that is played on a large (12' × 6') baize-covered table with pockets in each of the four corners and in the middle of each of the long side cushions. It is played using a cue, one white ball (the cue ball), 15 red balls and 6 colours: a yellow (worth 2 points), green (3 points), brown (4 points), blue (5 points), pink (6 points) and black ball (7 points). A player wins a frame of snooker by scoring the most points, using the cue ball to pot the balls in the manner described below. A match consists of an agreed number of frames. Snooker is particularly popular in English-speaking and Commonwealth countries such as Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan and India. There has recently been a surge of interest in East Asia, with players from Hong Kong, China and Thailand entering the rankings.
Can you get 6ft pub pool tables? are they a good size for playing 8 ball pool?
Snooker rarely fits exactly into tv schedules and often runs over the alloted time slot. Last nights final of the World Championship (shown on BBC2) was the longest final in history and ran two and a half hours over the allotted scheduling which was from 8pm - 10pm.As for missing apparent "easy shots" the atmopsphere and pressure of the snooker arena can cause mis-cues or a lapse in concentration. There is also the phycological pressure when about to make a crucial cue stroke.
Kicks (bad contacts between the white ball and object ball) can also effect a player mentally as well as ruining their intended positioning, hence making the next shot all the more difficult.
I can't play yahoo pool. The pool table doesn't show on my screen..?
no i dont think soWhere can I find a pure titanium pool cue?
to answer the idiotic last question, that sort of thing happens in many different sports, most (in)famously a Rugby League player called Don Fox.In a Challenge Cup final during the 1960's, when he missed a last second kick to win the game from directly in front of the posts. He was never forgiven for that, the poor lad as Eddie Waring described him.
I am a regular Pool player but recently the applet is not loading. Kindly solve the problem.?
i really don;t think soWhy does the pool table has only 6 pockets?
No. Easy crucial shots?? You try hitting a ball 12 foot onto another ball and potting it when that ball is worth £200 000. Muppet. It fits into schedules because a session is timed, and after a certain time they come off, like in cricket. They play 8 frames or untill a certain time, in cricket it is 90 overs or until a certain time. it's the same. Sometimes they play late on an evening to finish a match, the the TV schedule is effect, like extra overs in cricket! See the recent world championship final between Dott and Ebdon which finished at 1:00 am two days running
What is the most possible points that you can get if you runa perfect game in snooker?
Snooker is harder than pool. When 2 good players are at the table the usually takes quite a while because they will try to snooker one another quite often. For this reason the entire game can not be shown in a short period, even 9 ball competitions are truncated and it seems like they make almost every shot they go for but if you watch an entire competition in real life you will see it differently.More Questions & Answers...
