Using IE7 the applet for Yahoo Pool will not open. It says wait 3 min, but nothing happens.?

I open alternate window, still nothing . Says DONE, but window is blank. Even tried back door to enter pool rooms, still nothing. I do not believe its Java related, as other java programs work fine. Also, other games DO open up ok in yahoo
