In 8-ball pool, when you scratch, do you take a ball out of the pocket and put it on the dot only if a ball?
went in with the cue?

Why does one get barred from the pool rooms for no reason?
Yes on DOT..Yes, and the cueball gets set at free will behind the cueoff line.
When playing 8-ball all scratch shots replace a ball to the table. The ball of the shooter that made the scratch is placed on the rack dot, or as close behind it as possible. The cue is placed anywhere behind the break line (in the kitchen,) the other player chooses to put it for his next shot.
If more than one ball was pocketed with the scratch, then all of the shooters balls put in on that shot are returned to the table. Any opponents balls accidentally pocketed remain pocketed.
I would like to find a simple program that would compile a fixture list for me?
If you make no ball on your scratch, you just lose your shot. If a ball go in and you are not calling your shots it stays down.More Questions & Answers...
