Can chlorine act as a diarrhetic?
Question:I've been swimming at least once a day for the last 4 weeks at my local swimming pool. Every lunch time, tues/wed/thurs nights for an hour and then about 3hrs over the weekend.
I've been eating 'fairly' healthy, 3 pieces of fruit throughout the day with a sandwich at lunch. Cooked meal for dinner, usually with vegetables. But for some reason the last couple of weeks I've been a bit loose..
Answers:
ALSO kills the flora and stuff in your intestines that helps
you digest food -= SO - need to eat yogurt once a day
to put those probiotics back in place
PS - when you have a perscription for antibiotics -
does the same thing as drinking chlorinated water
Does anyone know where I can find zip top swimwear?
They said you only have to swim in it. not drink it! I suspect the fruit and such is making you looser. Chlorinated swimming pool water if swallowed will irritate the stomach and intestinal tract, so try not to drink so much of it and see if you tighten up a bit!Why does my water aerobics class have mostly senior citizens?
Sometimes if youre not used to eating so much fruit & veg it can cause you to be loose until your stomach gets used to all the fibre.Alternatively, have you been swimming after food? If you have, your food might not be getting digested properly.
What cpr class do you have to be a lifeguard?
umm, you say a sandwich at lunch.is this consitently and all the time? what kind of bread are you eating with that? whole wheat i assume? 3 pieces of fruit throughout the day? what do you mean by 3 pieces? like a part of an apple? or do you mean like 3 types of fruit??Look if you are eating that much fiber every day for some that could be too much. It all depends on the body. You know there is this supposed "dietary" guideline we are all supposed to follow...soo much vegetables and fruites and fiber a day...been there TRIED IT! My body went crazy and so did i! Basically what you are eating on a regular basis isn't working for you body so you need to change the diet. The regular fruit and fiber is causing the "loose" problem more than likely.
This has nothing ...absolutely nothing to do with trace amounts of chlorine being taken into your system. How do i know this? Let's see i was basically in a swimming pool from as long as i can remember, choking on chlorine.and as a child if anything i was "bound" up! ; )
Listen the amount of chlorine you would be ingesting would not be causing this problem. I have read up on chlorine ingestion relating to swimming/ swimmers and the amount is so little as to cause any type of poisoning.
Plz change your diet hon. I am sure you will notice a change in a bit and if after diet nothing changes you should for sure see your doctor as there is most likely a cause relating to none of this.
