OK near my house they just built this new pool and I have to pass a swimming test Do u think that I can pass?
I can swim in at 5 ft and below but have to pass a swimming test so that I can to pool without a guardian/parent. And the pool is only 5 ft and below do you think i can pass the test. I also have high lung capacity. If u think i can't pass the test is there anyway i can learn to swim better in 6 days.

Do you think I went too far with my new muff-diving outfit?
As a Lifeguard, my requirement for someone passing a swim test is:Swim the longest length of the pool
without touching the
bottom
the wall
a lane line
or any other help or support
Use an over arm crawl stroke, like front crawl/freestyle, with your head in the water lifting for a breath as needed and a strong kick.
The swimmer must be strong and not struggle or panic, or barely make it.
The trick is to blow bubbles under water as you swim and lift or turn your head to take a quick, small breath of air.
Perfect swimming is not the issue. You don't have to be a perfect swimmer, just strong and competent.
What if you are in the deep end, and someone gets in your way, or accidentally bumps into you.? What if there are a lot of people on the edge and you have to swim farther to get to the side? What if your face gets splashed, or a big wave washes over your head?
Are you strong enough?
Trust the lifeguards recommendations.
If you're not ready, take some swim lessons where you can practice. Like kicking with a kickboard to strengthen you kick. Practice breath control so you can swim farther with less effort.
Stay Safe and have fun!

can you float on your stomach? can you float on your back?can you do a Stream line Kick form one end to the other on your back ?!
Breast stroke would probably be your easiest stroke to do, if you're unsure.
ask the lifeguard on duty what the specific requirements are before you do it.
