Would someone help me guesstimate the resale value of an O'Neil dry suit - for scuba diving?
I have a womans size 14, O'neil Neoprene dry suit for scuba diving. Barely used - less than 10 dives, reinforced seals, excellent cond. It belonged to an old friend who wanted me to sell it on e-bay for her. This was about 2-3 years ago & at the time her asking price was $650 - lowest price - $500. (I never got around to posting it for her) I'd like to hurry up & get rid of it, but I've got no idea how much it is worth?!?! $500-$600 sounds ridiculous to me. I've browsed on e-bay & craigs list & no wet/dry suits bring nearly that much - even brand new! Would someone with some scuba knowledge please help me determine how much it is really worth? THANX

Do you think it is wrong for a guy to wear thong or speedo type swimsuits?
Depends on the seals and their condition, front entry or rear. You don't mention boot size either, which can be a factor if it has unusually large or small boots that may need changing. If they're latex seals and in good condition you can usually command an extra 50 bucks over neoprene seals. Boots, if they need changing can dramatically influence the price by about 150 bucks.
10 dives and assuming neoprene seals, back entry, no boot change and overall good condition (stored properly), you should be able to fetch 600-700 bucks (canadian).

200-300 dollersWhat is your most fav. swimming stroke?
scubabob always seems to know his *, in prime shape you could get around 450 - 500 USD for it. Thats assuming great shape of the valves, seals, and zipper. Average shape with decent seals about 300 - 400 USD. Dont compare drysuits and wetsuits, they're apples and oranges.More Questions & Answers...
