How do I prepare a above ground pool that wasn't winterized?
The pool is about half full and the water is dark green and thick looking. I have no experience with swimming pools. I do not know how long it has been unused.

drain the pool , use a stiff brush to break up the green moss and use chlorine or bleach to remove the stain it may take a little time and effort. let the chemicals soak in and do most of the work for you . in the end you will soon be enjoying the pool and forgotten' about the ugly mess you had to endure . good luck .More Questions & Answers...
