I agree... the chlorine levels will kills just about any bacteria that will get into the pool. But it will not harm your body. When a kid throws up or poops in a pool, it does need to be "shocked" which is when they put a high dose of chlorine in the pool to disinfect it. Although it seems gross...almost every serious swimmer just pees in the pool. It gets annoying to get out of the water and take off your suit every time you have to pee during practice. Gross I know, but every serious swimmer I've talked to does it. And there isn't any problems in the pool from it!

Yes, Chlorine kills almost every "cootie" that could hurt a human. Feces is generally thought to be a cause for draining though.
