If you don't have access to a washing machine which would be really helpful, you have some options:

#1: Swim with the suit in clean water. It will dilute the mud and will loosen it up and allow it to dispearse through the water's medium.
#2: Rub it off as best you can and then wash your hands (used this technique with snorkel equipment while on a deserted island in the Florida Keys on vacation - yes, vacation!)
#3: Use rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover on it. They might not be too good for the fabric but it'll get the mud out. Also make sure you air out the bathing suit after you do this if you use this method.
