Can i swim with a skinned knee?
I was riding my bike and fell and skinned my knee. I was gonna go swimming today but can i still swim with my fresh wound? will it burn a lot? will the chlorine do anything to the skinned part?

Every time that i have skinned up my knee i was told to go in the pool with the chlorine. It will burn at first, but it is not like a throbbing burning pain. It will almost sting, it will be un-noticeable soon after getting into the pool.
It'll be fine...it might sting a little for the first couple minutes but after that it'll go away.

I know exactly what that feels like... when I was about 6 we had an old car (and I am going back a few years now) ~ it was a 1950ish Morris Major "6" cylinder ~ when it went around corners the doors would accidently swing open! No cars had seat belts in those days... anyway.. you guessed it... I fell out and was hanging on the the door handle.
