Why when I vacume my pool does all the crud come back into the pool through the filter and into the pool?

Answers:

Just how long have boys been swimming in shorts during the summer?

Either the filter is being bypassed on the plumbing (usually caused by moving the valve system to Recirculate instead of Filter) or your filtration system is malfunctioning. There could be an easy answer too. the particles you are vacuuming are too small for your filter to catch.

Unfortunately not knowing what "crud" you are trying to vacuum is coming back in it's hard to tell you exactly what the problem is and how to fix it with a single answer.

Swimming work out.?

Before you VACUUM your pool, you need to check your filter. Most older filters have plastic grids and these grids absorb all the debris from your vacuum. Take them out and hose them off.
If that doesn't work, maybe your vacuum hose doesn't have the right suction or connected properly. good luck

Need tips on diving?

it could come back through the filter. try changing the filter between vacuuming. use pool shock i found that the shock pellets work better ... good luck.
