Do u have a time limit for the lifeguard 300yard swim test? if so what is it.?
It depends on your purpose and air temperature. For competition it is between 78-80 degrees. This is a bit chilly for most recreational swimming uses. City pools quite often range between 80-85 degrees. People doing water aerobics like the water at the warmer side of that range. For me 80 degrees is just fine but I'm a competitive swimmer and generate significant heat while in the pool. Anything below 78 degrees is VERY cold and you will likely be very uncomfortable.70 degrees Fahrenheit

Well, I'm sure this answer will have to depend on the current weather. I mean, if it is a hot and sunny day outside, it would feel best to jump into a nice, cold pool. If the weather is cloudy, there is no sun, and it feels a bit chilly, a warm pool would feel very nice. So really, the decision is yours. :)70-82 degrees
75-85 degrees.
Do YOU wish you were taller or shorter? What is your height??
i'd say the ideal temp for the water would be around 80 degrees fahrenheit. thats what i usually swim in. or at least, thats what the thermometer reads. the normal air temp, i'd say above 70What's the special weight- workouts for swimmers?
I say that about 82 Farenheit is the most comfortable water temperature while about 75 degrees Farenheit is the best for air temperature in terms of swimming for practice. As for competition though, I'd say that the water temperature should be right around 76-77F. You don't want it too cold but you also don't want it too warm either. I think that air temp. of 75 holds about the same, you also don't want to have that too hot or too cold so that swimmers' muscles stay warm while out of the pool and also that they don't necessarily sweat when coming out of the pool.
Has any one ever went scooba diving?
depends if you're lap swimming or just playing around. if you're going to be more active, then you'll want the water to be cooler. Normally the water temperature should be in the high 70's-80. the air temperature, mid 70's and upCan u open ur eyes in hot water?
If you're racing or playing water polo, you want the water to be cold, but not freezing, so that you can radiate off body heat better and have better stamina (you crash in a pool where the water's warm). If you're not doing that, the water should be at least 80, and the air should be warmer than the water.i know from experience that water is perfect for a regular swim practice at 81 degrees F.
It doesn't matter the outside air temp. i swim whether its 40 or 98
