Swimming and wearing boxers?

Question:im gonna start swimming at my school really soon and im just wondering if i would be allowed to wear my boxers under my swim trunks while i am swimming. if anyone knows please answer

I don't think that anyone would care but why would you want to. Most swimming suits for men already have a built in mesh part that prevents any escaping of body parts. If you are wearing a speedo then that is just wrong on all levels.

i don't think that that wouldn't be allowed, every swimming class i've ever taken there was no specific rule about not wearing underwear under your swimsuit, but i don't know why you'd want to... the only thing that gets you is wet underwear?

Many people (including myself) wear boxers under their trunks. I'm not sure if it is strictly allowed, but it doesn't really matter, does it? Usually you can't tell whether someone wears boxers under their trunks or not.

i am on my highschool swimteam and alot of the guys on he swim team as well s some girls wear boxers and other things. It is actually really good for you because it creates alot of drag and it will build up your muscles alot faster then tight suits.
