Why do lots of guys alwasy calls male swimmers gay?
I hate it so much when some of the guys at my school make fun of our varsity swimmers and call them gay and stuff. I mean until your a swimmer you really have no idea how hard it is. They also say crap about how swimming/diving isnt a real sport. I guess im just expressing my anger lol.

swimming is among one of the hardest sports you can posibly to ( im a competitive swimmer and i swim like 22 hours a week, thats like 60-70 km! like try do that and then see if its gay!)

The reason most people associate being gay with swimming is mainly the skimpy dress (speedo's) and the publicity of Greg Louganos and his sexuality. The people who say that are usually the lardy fatsos who do not play a sport or if they do are pretty crappy at it.I was a tight end on my football team, I wrestled and I swam and I lettered in all 3 sports. Swimming is the hardest of the three without a doubt. Males who are ashamed of their looks and are jealous of the attention that swimmers get from girls try to diss anyone whom they perceive as being better than they are. This makes them feel better about there own failings. This is just anger and self hatred that they turn outward on others. Also, the loudest critics are generally the ones the most uncertain of their own manhood and orientation and they try to deflect suspicion away from themselves and bolster their missing feelings of acceptance by loudly labeling someone else as gay. Its a case of the Hit dog being the one doing all the hollering. They cant face that they are gay and attracted to us because we are more attractive then they are, so they try to mask us in what they feel about themselves. By deamonizing us, it exorcises their own feeling of inadequacy and lets them strut and feel tall. What a joke.
