Why does my neck hurt when I swim backstroke?

Answers:

Where can I find cheap swimwear like roxy, hurley, oneill, etc.?

most likely reason is that you head is facing the spot that you started from. to fix it(and this will also fix your stroke) just stare at the ceiling. another reason is that your back might not be straight, so if you kick harder and try to keep your back straighter you should fix it(kicking helps to keep you floating and to keep your back straight).

Do you think athletic women swimmers look great in their one piece swimsuit?

do you keep running into, stuff?

What can you tell me about synchronized swimming?

Perhaps your neck is in an awkward position, either flexed very far backward or looking forward too much.

When did swimming become acceptable?

Because you probably have your head up rather than flat on top of the water... or when you breath you are moving your head...remember to always keep it still...and when you breath or move side to side have you shoulder in line with your head...go completely on your side...
I hope this helps...:]]]

Is it normal for people to sink in water?

That's a common problem for most of backstroke beginner swimmers. Relax your neck and let your head go back ( never keep it up ) and try to breath normally.
