What is the best way to prepare for a swim meet?
Answers:
Has anyone heard anything about Michael Phelps lately?
Well, the night before make sure you eat a lot of pastas or rice then get in a good night's sleep. Before the meet starts, stretch out your muscles first and then head into the pool to warm up and then swim some laps focusing on your form. Also get in some practice starts, flip turns, and finishes. This is especially important if you usually don't practice at this pool so you can get a feel for the pool since every pool is different.
Also it wouldn't hurt if you practiced hard because doing this isn't going to miraculously help you get first place. Good luck.
Does chlorine damage your skin?
Uh, practice! But don't practice on the day before, that'll be your "rest" day.
Sleep at least 6 hours, and make sure you eat properly.
I want two know about some adventourous games?
I would recommend getting a good amount of rest the night before (at least six hours), and like the other person said, you should probably relax the day before. Eat plenty of protein, and a healthy breakast the moring of. I suggest pasta salad if possible, or just powerbars and gatorade. Make sure you do some stretching to losen yourself up, especially before a big event/race because of the time in between them can cause you to tense up.How can I improve my freestyle kick?
