What do you do when a shark attacks?

Wetsuits worn in "The Life Aquatic"?
Relax, don't make any agitated movements, try and float horizontally.the shark is attracted to movements and hence will go away if you do not thrash about.
Also, as its jaws are below its body, floatong flat makes it ver difficult for it to attack if uou are on the surface.

get off your surf board and dont splash all around...i scuba dive and have picked sharks up by the fin...they arent man eatings...i worry more about teen-age seals getting agressive more then any sharkGirls, if you see a guy with a nice body in speedos, do you check out how big he is?
do not swim away - be aggressive, assertive - and use whatever you have to protect your body - never turn your back - the nose is a very sensitive part of the shark so that is a good place to make contact if you have to.Apart from that most sharks are totally harmless and will leave you in peace if you leave them in peace.
Swim REALLY REALLY fast.

Does anyone know the condition of Greg Ferruci a diver injured in Indianapolis at the US Open?
You really don't have to worry too much about getting attacked by a shark... unless you're splashing around in blood... and dressed like a seal...I used to live in Cali by the beach... I was about 1/4 mile out and got smacked in the face by my surfboard... I was bleeding hard core.. like to where I was compleatly covered in blood.. my hair.. my boobs.. everything... and there's usually a few sharks lurking around.. but I wasn't attacked... so really you don't have anything to worry about... and.. for some odd reason you ever do get attacked... scream and poke it in the eye
and If you've been scuba diving.. and you're out in the middle of the ocean lost... there's a way for you to unhook your BC and slide it underneath you.. sit on it with the tank under the water and wait for some help...
