Answers:

Does chlorine make a pool blue?

1) The coral reefs is a unique wanderfull living environment 2) In the first 10-15 meters of depth, you can find the most of the organism living in it (More light, more life...) 3) therefore ,can be "easy" for diving and.. 4)...for the safety, because you will not need to dive deep. 5)..In consequence your reserve of air will last more time ..6)..Increasing your enjoyment...

7) It's a good environment in which to take U.W.pictures ,due to the big variety of living organism you can find ..and 8)...the colors that at such depths are still visible( not so bright, however).

9) And the situation,at night, changes a lot in the reef, allowing you to see fish that where not visible during the day light ,hiding in fissures,or hunting in deep waters.10) The polyps of the corals will "bloom" as other similar organisms.

After stating so many positive reasons,it's difficult to talk about "negative" ones. Here some suggestions:
- Diving on the reef ,requests a good controll of your buoyancy,to avoid to break corals, sponges etc.
-Don't take souvenirs,as pieces of coral,shells,etc
-Don't grab corals,or step on them
-Don't feed fish
-Don't put your hands in dark fissures
-Don't try to grab animals that you don't know
-Try to have a good pre dive briefing from a Dive Master,in order to know the characteristics of the the animals that you will, probabily ,meet.Dangers,currents,etc.

*About mooray eels,in reality, are shy animals ,retreating when we approach them. Can be dangerous, just in some cases,at night while are hunting,or when you try to grab them in the hole in which they live.
-Sharks,just few species can be dangerous for divers.Reef sharks,at most, escape in presence of divers.
By the way, some infested areas in which you should pay attention, exist in the world.

Hi! I'm in Malaysia & I'm doing an Openwater PADI Cert. I've been quoted about GBP215. Is it too much? Ta!

There are eels that can slither over and think your toe is food and will try to eat it. Also, there could be a very large fish, like a shark, that could protect you from the eel. Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows?

How much chlorine is in put in how much water in swimming pools?

1 pro - it's beautiful. 1 con - eels...ick. I think they're scary, especially when they are a foot away from your face. I'll let everyone else fill in the other 9 of each!
