Any tips for how to make me faster for sprinting?
1 . Just start in the shallow end...2. I know it sounds dumb but to get comfortable practice putting your face in the water and blowing bubbles
3. Practice treading water then slowly begin moving about
(it is very important to become comfortable with treading since when your not panicing and thrashing...the human body is naturally buoyant)
good luck and don't be ashamed...a lot of people who say they can swim...can just stop themselves from drowning not necessarily swim
Hey, don't worry about it. Anyone can learn to swim.
When I was 9 years old, my parents enrolled me in swimming lessons. Naturally, I learned pretty quickly. Soon after that, I found out that my father could not swim at age 45. I told my swim instructor about this, and she kindly offered to spend an afternoon with my dad in the pool. After a couple hours, my dad could swim well enough to be able to practice by himself. Within a week he was a swimmer, and now he teaches the Swimming merit badge at Scout Camp.
So, find somebody that knows how to swim, and ask them if they would take some time to teach you. That's all you need.
