Any one know of any swimming training sets?
Question:I need some swimming training sets working on
Speed
Technique
Aerobic fitness
Threshold
Distance sets
etc.
Any of those would be very helpful. Also if you know on how they are improving your stroke that would be great. Please just say any sets you know and what they are working on.

Do some stretching exercises to begin & 25 push ups & 25 sit ups.1) Warm up 400m medium speed. Free style
2) Use a kick boeard & do 400 m kicks , Medly order.
3) use a pull boy & hand padles - 400m Pulls
4) Use a pair of flippers & do kick s in medly order with ane arm stroke.
5) 200 m easy free style to warm down a bit.
6) 50 m or 25 m sprints, medly order 7 repeat for 3 times.
7) Warm down 200m free
This a general set for every day use.

What are the tips for a learner swimmer?
Okay, this is a great set for working on breathing..12 X 25
6- Breaststoke
6- Fly
The point is to try to get to the other end of the pool without breathing. For breaststroke you do continuous breaststroke pullouts, and for fly you do fly kick in streamline position. Sometimes for fun you can have completions to see who can go the farthest, they can turn at the wall, but can't breath. Our team record is like 50 meters or something like that.
Another great set is the Minute Set. It is kind of confusing but I will try to explain. You keep you times with the clock. You go on the top and you have to make it back before it gets back to the 60, then you go on the 1, and have to make it back before the 60, then to 2 and you have to make it back before the 60. You keep doing this until you can't make it back before the 60. It is a really fun set, you can do it swim, kick, or pull.
