I lost a very important swimming competition and can't get over it!?
Even my best friend was left on second place... I got on fourth! She healed but I haven't! If I can't lose then I should forget about copeting? My trainer didn't seem to care about how I feel... HOW CAN I GET OVER THIS?? Right now I am so angry at myself and feel like quiting swimming!!

Synchronized swimming- sculling and vertical positions?
Losing is a part of life- i hate to break it to you. Striving to be the best is one thing, but being completely neurotic about not being number one is another. Swimming is about beating yourself, not the person in the lane next to you. Always strive for a better time- not to beat the next person. Because in the end, unless you're an Olympic champion, there is always going to someone faster than you. Do what Dory says: Just Keep Swimming! How does one correct a scissor kick in the breaststroke?
obviously your passionate about swimming.use your anger to get better.
make yourself work harder and use that competition as motivation. you'll have manymore meets and many many more accomplihsments!
I know how it feels to loose. Its not a good feeling at all, especially when competing against friends. I find myself more competitive against friends. But, you should use this anger about losing and put it to work in helping you win the next meet.

Please, don't give up.Just remember that many swimmers -Olympic Champions- have had some delusions in their career.
