How can i become a better swimmer?
I used to have that fear till very recently. You just have to familiarize yourself with the deeper end. My coach let me use a floating device the first few times but after that, I had to swim in the deeper end without it.You should use a floating device too. It helps. Slowly wean yourself off it.
Also, learn (if you don't already know) certain techniques to stay afloat in water. Know how to shift to backfloat position while swimming freestyle or breaststroke. Learn how to tread water. This will equip you with skills that will keep you afloat and prevent you from drowning. With this knowledge, you will be more confident in tackling the deeper end of the pool.
Hope this helps & all the best.
go to the video arcade and play pinball instead

Alot of people overcome fears, additctions, ect. with hypnosis. Is it safe to store pool chemicals outside on my deck?
u aint man enough if u cant overcome this fear.first get a floating device then start using it less and less until u aint afraid
If you swim well enough in the shallow water, all you have to do is remember that you're swimming on the surface of the water, no matter how deep it is. I know it sounds too simple, but it's true. Swimming is done on the surface, not the bottom of the pool.
Good luck, and happy swimming.
How do you float in deep water?

just swim in omenus hotel' pool and i will save your body after dead...What's the best way to keep swimming goggles from fogging on the inside?
just remember that it doesn't matter how deep the water is below you, you are only on the top 4 feet at the most. I taught young children how to swim and the easiest way to do it was to have them float on their back from the shallow end and kick their feet over to the deep end. They can't see that they are in the deep end and then once they have done it the fear is gone. Just try zoning out and floating in the pool before you know it you will have been in the deep end with no problems and you fear will be lessened.More Questions & Answers...
