When i went to speedo.com, i saw some swim suits were 30 bucks and some were up to 90 bucks...?
what's the difference between the two? i buy the ones that are 30 bucks and they can last up to 6 months!! is it just cuz the 90 bucks looks better or is the fabric really better?

Now, I am the father of three competitive swimmers. When they got to the level where the suits would make a difference (nationals, ranked, etc.), they KNEW the suits they needed, and why. You will too.
HOWEVER ... from a father's perspective, much of the advantage of a new suit is mental. You believe it will make you faster,so it does.
My son was less than .2 secs off a zone cut several years ago. I had been holding onto a new suit for a while. I went to the car, had him use the suit, he cut 1.5 secs off because he BELIEVED it would make a difference. SO ... you might want to get one suit that you think will make you faser ... but hold onto it until you REALLY need it. Then wear it ONLY for special meets.
Time improvements are primarily mental, and the rest technique. Assuming a tight-fitting suit (no drag), the equipment will not make much difference at all at your level.
Good luck.
yes, the fabric is different, and usually better, but unless you are swimming at a really high level, it wont make enough of a difference to spend an extra $60
Most dangerous sharks in the pacific?
It may be the fabric or the design you could never know which unless you belong to the speedo companyDoes any1 know a site where i can find.?
the cheaper suits are for practice and some compettion depending on if ur seruisthe $90 suits are only for compettion for very higl level swimmers because they reduce drag but not enough to matter when ur not as serius
