Above ground pool... foot size divots forming 2-3" deep?
Question:My pool was installed by so called Pro's. They did a bad job on everything! This is the 2nd season and now I have 4, 2 to 3 inch deep divots in the bottom of the pool. The base inside the divots is very soft. All 4 are within 2 feet area. What causes this? Can it wait until this Fall or next Spring before it's fixed?
Thanks for any info that can be provided.

Does lots of swimming makes ur boobs smaller??!?
I'm assuming it's a sand base. At least it ought to be. If those "divot"s have just recently shown up, have you noticed any water loss? A pin hole in the liner can wash out the sand underneath it, makes a sort of "divot". It's the only thing that would cause this to show suddenly, if they did a proper job of prepping the base. Get someone in there with a dive mask and have a look. How old is swimmer Ian Thorpe?
do you jump into your pool and land there always??In Abyss movie, is the diving gear used for deep diving reel or real?
Just for future reference,to avoid this we (as a pool retailer) always suggect using a polyfoam pad a coving. Sand moves and does create impressions and divots. It is also an abrasive which will in time wear away your liner. To solve the problem will require emptying the pool, removing the liner and resurfacing the bottom. If you can live with it through the hot season (and your liner is not in peril) it would be perhaps better to wait.
