you can buy "swimmers ear" at your local drug store...it dries up the water in your ears and prevents them from hurting.

Would you get mad if a kid lets say about 5 came up to you and said ha ha you suck and push you in the mud?

Go to a drugstore (Walgreens type) and buy Swim-Ear or Auro-dri...they are liquids, made mostly of alcohol, that you drop in your ear and they dry the water. They both really work. Then I suggest using earplugs - I just started doing so and it makes a huge difference.

Are these swim googles tinted? will the black one cause me to see in shades of black?

Ah i see someone else has encountered it. I got the same problem from a really bad fall wake boarding. Unfortunately I have an infection and it really hurts... I tried jerking my head around to see if water would come out at first and it obviously didn't work... maybe it will for you. I'm using pills from my doctor to get it cleared up. I don't recommend the using a hair dryer. maybe speak to your doctor first or use a q-tip to get some water out.. It will only get worst if you have a lot of moisture in your ear.

Who hold the world record for holding their breath?

I'm a swimmer so I know a trick. Take a q-tip and dip it in alchohol and maybe a little bit of water so it doesn't sting that much. It may sting, but it sure gets out the water.

I have really muscley arms, how do i get rid of it?

First trick -- tilt your head to the side in which the ear hurts and pound lightly with your hand on the other side of your head, which often jolts loose water out. Second trick -- qtip with a little alcohol helps to dry it out. Third trick -- swimmers ear from the drugstore. One of these should take care of it. If not, you should see a doctor.

Do lifegaurds have to wear a swimming costume underneath their uniform?

Put in a drop of rubbing alcohol into each ear. The evaporating alcohol will help evaporate the water out of your ear or the alcohol will help break the surface tension of the water, which causes the water to stay in your ear. If this doesn't take the water out, the alcohol will kill the bacteria in the water in your ear which will prevent ear infection.

What is competitive swimming?

I use one of those bulb things they make to suck out babies noses (I know it sounds gross but I can't remember the name of them) Fill it with warm waterand squeeze it till all the air is out. Then place it just inside your earat the roof of the canal. (not too far in though) Then sqeeze a gentle stream of water in your ear.

Do this over a sink and lean your head so the water runs into it as your doing it. This will release the air bubble that is holding the water in. You can also use this to suck the water out by pressing your ear around it and gently releasing the pre-squeezed bulb to create suction.
