Training pointers?
I am 11 years old, I just joined a swim team and started training for the 2014 Olymics. Any pointers.

while i didn't to qualify for the last us olympic team qualifying meet, a number of my friends did and i went to cheer them on at the long beach meet. honestly, at this point there is nothing to stop her. indeed, a number of olympic gold medalists didn't blossom until their high school years. some of the guys on my college team beat michael phelps in his events back when he was a freshman in high school.
How do I get involved in synchronized swimming?
olymics... wow. you "just" join a swim team did you beat the crap outta all the other kids yet? after you do that you should be in high school so join your high school team and they'll send you to competitions if you're good. who know, if you're good you might get recuited by US swimming.PS if you actually manage to beat all the other kids then your swim team sucks join another one with older kids.
Learn to love the water, you are going to be in it a lot! I am a former competitive swimmer. I was side tracked by injury. But really believe you can do it. Train as much as you can... listen to your coaches!
I am not sure where you are in a swim team. School? Probably private swim club... that's good! Even in high school, during the summer, make sure you are still on some sort of team. There are also plenty of swim clinics that focus on certain things (strokes, turns, dives) so look into them!
Good luck!
you are just starting and u think u can make it to the olymics by 2014 you are crazy. I've been swimming for 8 year's or I started when i was 5 competive swimming at a meet. it take years and years to make it to the olymics. Years and years of hard work training and all of meet's and doing well at meet's because you not allways going to do well. but trane alote and always do what your couch ask's or tell's you to do. and when you do bad at a meet keep you head up alway's good luck Crazy.
