How to check the property of swimming pool water give the details of the chemical tests with exp.&observation?
In our swimming pool water is not properly treated. Therefore students are getting infection problem.I want to know that to maintain water in pool what are the essential tests to performed & how can we perform i.e. I want the details of experiments & observations.

I can tell you what to test for, but how to test it, will depend on what test kit you are using. They are all different in the types and amount of reagents used in the titration process.You should be testing for Total alkalinity, Ph and Chlorine at the very least.
Keep the kids out of that pool until you get it sorted out. You are endangering their health. If you have no idea what you are doing ( sounds like it) get a pool pro in to teach you how to operate your pool. Ear infections are a sure sign that there's not enough sanitizer in that pool for starters and worse infections could follow.
If I were you I would call a local pool company - they can tell you specific details. However, from working at a public pool in the past, the tests are fairly easy. We also own a hottub - treating it is easy as well, just keep on top of the results.
For one, the chlorine must be right, we took a sample then put a tablet in it and took a reading and adjusted accordingly. Same with other chemicals. The pool company would be able to provide the supplies and for information! Good luck!
