If a nun wanted to go swimming, would she wear a bathing suit?

Yes you can. Personally i get burned more underwater than out of it. If you want to see if it works on you just go to the beach and go in the water and don't wear sunscreen at all.but i wouldn't recomend it!!!

Just curious... how was your high school training schedule like?

Reflection and Underwater Burns

Stay away from surfaces that reflect sunlight back at you - or else increase your sun protection. Snow, ice, sand, and white cement all increase the effects of UV rays. And did you know that most UV rays can "dive" down into the water? It's a fact to keep in mind when you take a dip.

How long can you hold your breath?

What is the apparel used in beaches?

Yes, because swimming underwater outdoors, is almost like those tanning beds, so you can get burnt if you don't regularly apply sunscreen.

How many calories does swimming burn?

yes u can get burnt but if people have common sence they would use waterproof sunscreen. water almost as bad as a taning bed thats been on too long. so use waterproof sunscreen.

Will the navy teach u to swim?

yes you can get sun burnt or tan under water. i think water kind of magnifies the sun's rays. where i live there is always somthing blocking sunlight to the pool (a building, trees, the ceiling...)
