Don't use q-tips, first off. The best suggestion I can give is to lie down with the ear full of water pointing toward the ground, so that gravity is working with it. Kind of shake your head a little bit. You can also press your hand tightly enough against your ear that it causes a suction vacuum, and popping it that way will sometimes ease the pressure enough that it'll come out. Just keep trying to give it a chance to leak out lying on that side.How do you get water out of your ear?

But today i kinda thought i had the same problem and it turned out to be the ear wax that was causing it. I went to the ENT and he flushed it all out with syringing. I feel like i have super hearing now even better than before. Amazing how your head feels when the brain has proper hearing stimulation. I swear by it and am gonna go for it every year now. Even the mouse click is real clear now!

You may not have water in your ear at all, believe it or not. What you may be experiencing is actually swollen or mugus filled Eustachian Tube(s). If this is the case, your ear will feel like it is clogged. You may feel like the External Auditory Canal, or better know as the outer ear, has water in it and this makes it difficult to hear. The human ear is actually designed to drain any liquids from the outer ear quite naturally. On the other hand, the Eustachian Tubes are very small and lead directly to the throat. Thus, the slightest irritation from swimming or even a cold can cause them to swell, or become filled with flem or mugus from the sinuses. Try taking some Sudafed, or just wait for 2 or 3 days and it will clear up on it's own. If you feel any pain, not just blockage, then see a doctor. You may have an ear infection.Hope you feel better real soon!

Get a many vaccum cleaner and put right in your the pain you might feel will be normal.. just playin all i do is get my index finger and poke inside my ear until the water is gone.. its might not be the best scientific ans, but hey it works for me :)put a couple of drops of alcohol in the ear

Well you could try a few drops of white vinegar or alcohol, but if that doesnt work get your hair dryer and put it on the lowest setting and hold it about a foot away for a few minutes. That usually works for me. I also suggest if its possible to do this after every time you swim.The alcohol and white vinegar never worked for me but it does for some people. Point it at your ear on low setting.You really need to get that water out of ur ear, coz thats wut happened 2 me and i ended up with swimmers ear (a horrible ear infection), so i went to the doctor and they said if i continued to get water in my ear to buy special type of eardrops that u put in after every practice. You can buy these at ur local medecine place.
