Running question?


Question:Does anyone do anything harder than this?Doing a dirty dozen around a big field. Dirty Dozen say 1 lap around a small track then you do 2 laps. then start over and do 3 laps. start over do 4 laps. do that all the way up to 12 laps like this. 1.1,2...1,2,3....1,2,3,4...

Does anyone do anything harder? thanks because im going to be doing that around a huge field. When i get done i will have done 78 laps.So does anyone do any harder training, im wondering so i can know and i and everyone else could get better.Thanks.

I live near a 400meter track and am part of a track team. This is a average size track in the U.S that you would find at a high school (outside) The hardest workout I have done is a 30X400m. This means that you take your mile time and divide it by four and add six seconds. Then your run a lap in that time (400m). Then take a 90 second rest. You reapeat this 29 more times for a total of 30. If you want to make this track workout harder or easier you can change the number of laps or amount of rest.

What are some healthy snacks to have at sports meets, specifically swim meets?

Hardest training I do is something like 6x5minutes fast running on the most mud-soaked, twisty-turny, steepest uphills imaginable.
By the last effort, my legs can barely move!
Also 10minutes warm-up & 10mins warm-down...also on the hills!!
