How and when do i breath when im doin my butterfly stroke?
If you don't have a dancer's physique, your diving days will be over with High School. I never saw anyone get hurt real bad, we practice some stunts on the trampoline while wearing the "belt." Don't know if they even have the trampoline anymore? My experience included some platform diving. Even then, a belly flop will only sting. A friend broke a finger once when kicking out of a somersault and hitting it on the 1 meter board. When learning twisting dives, it is best to wear a swimmer's cap for protection, if you land on your side you could pop an eardrum.
Every sport can be really competitive...its just a matter of your skill and the more skill you have the more competitive the sport can become.and every sport has its risks, but as long as you know how to dive and how to dive safely then that risk decreases

Best way to swim? Once a day for 20 mins or once a week for an hour and a half?
Every sport has their margin of error. I loved diving and for me it helped me out because I would practice what I learned on the diving board and apply to gymnastics and vice versa. Kept me in shape all year long and since I did both I was able to not be as nervous trying new stunts or dives. How many laps in the "indy500"?
