What is the lowest LEGAL temperature for a school swimming pool?
My school water is FREEZING. I KNOW that it is not legal. They are too cheap, and the heater is 'broken' anyways. If you find out, please provide a good reputable link [ie: Redcross] Thank you.

Does Wildwood have a Swim With Dolphins thing like Discovery Cove in Fla yet?
The decision on how warm to keep the pool is up to the individual owner. The temperature recommended by the American Red Cross for competitive swimming is 78ºF. This comfort level also coincides with good fuel savings. The typical range for pools is 78º - 82ºF. It says that the American Red Cross recommends this temperature, but nothing I've found says anything about a school swimming pool having to be a certain temperature, except a website that was posted by the Social Services of Minnesota, and it says that you must maintain a water temperature of not more than 104 degrees Fahrenheit and not less than 70 degrees Fahrenheit--you can check out the websites below, which is where i found the above information. hope this helps :)Cold water makes you swim faster. If it doesn't kill you it will make you stronger. Swimming in freezing water will kill you, unless you can skate on the ice. Good luck.

I know that the lowest legal air temperature for swimming is 40 degree Fahrenheit.
What is the lenght of a swimming pool?
At school once, my coach canceled all the gym classes that were swimming, but we still had to do a workout after school. And he said we couldn't stand around, because of hypothermia. And if we had to stop we had to get out. Plus, I don't go to a poor school.More Questions & Answers...
