Swimming Benefits?
Seeing that i used to run track in high school i have really bulky thighs... I signed up for swimming cause i heard it's good for toning your whole body. Will swimming help my thighs become leaner or slimmer?

Definitely leaner since swimming gets your body into shape all around.So let's put it into perspective. Swimming regularly will::
*Broaden your shoulders and muscle up your arms
*Slim down your hips
*Turn fat in your legs into muscles
*Builds triceps
*Burns any extra fat since swimming works all areas
The are I would say swimming least affects would be your stomach, but not many sports do that anyways.

It helps build a lot of muscle if you swim a lot. I do a 2.5 hour workout everyday except Sundays. My coach really pushes us hard. So for me swim helps me build muscle and loss weight. I lost about 10lbs on my first week of varsity.More Questions & Answers...
