Does anyone know of a good dive site in Ontario? or anywhere near there?
i am an avid diver and have dived some very intense dives in Victoria BC. I need a challenge

I dive regularly in Ontario, just got back from a wreck dive 40 minutes ago :)There are several areas that you can go. You say you like intense, so I'll keep it to experienced advanced and tech only. Tobermory has Fathom Five Marine Park. There are several wrecks and two intentional sinkings. The Arabia, Forest City and part of the Naigara II are all below 100-150 feet. The Niagara is completely penetrable.
The Kingston area has a few, notably the Wolfe Islander, a car ferry and a nice dive. In Brockville/Mallorytown there are many wrecks all in very strong current. Lillie Parsons and the Darya are great drift on/off with penetration. The Darya demands that you know what you are doing or it'll kill you Drift off the Lillie for a jaunt downstream and into the trench at 170 feet.. Now for funky and awesome. The Jodrey is located near Rockport, it's on the US side, but not by much. But someone who does intense dives should have no problem with a 230 footer onto a 600 foot steel freighter and take the wheell in the wheel house. Maybe the Keystorm would be a better choice, at only 116 to the props. Don't go in the engine spaces unless you REALLY are trained, again, you'll die. A Fun dive to do is the Waome, in Lake Muskoka. Not deep, just 90 feet, she's starting to fall apart (passenger ferry) but the viz might turn you off, it's hard to see your hands. That's about all we have that's interesting besides some wicked thermoclines.Hope a west coast diver finds it challenging.
