About Swimming Underwater?

Question:How can I sink to the bottom of the swimming pool and how to keep sinking until I have no more air left?

Answers:

What is the preferable temperature to go swimming in?

I'm going to guess your question is about how best to reach the bottom of the pool.
The best way to reach the bottom of the pool is to do a surface dive, either feet first or head first. A feet first surface dive starts with treading water. You propel yourself out of the water as much as you can and then make your body as straight as possible with your hands at your sides when you sink back down. As you sink to just below the surface of the water, take your hands from your sides and push the water up with both hands until your arms are straight above your head. During this decent, remember to steadily breathe out from your mouth or nose so you don't lose momentum and begin to float back up. If you do this right, you should be able to get 15-20 feet below the surface pretty quickly. The feet first dive also lets you push off the bottom right away without having to turn around.
The other way is the head first surface dive. In this dive, you start by treading water as well. Instead of lifting your head out of the water, you put it straight down into the water with your arms reaching to the bottom of the pool and lift your legs out of the water above you. The weight from your legs with gravity will push you underwater. Once underwater, you can kick with your legs and/or do breaststroke pulls with your arms. Remember to breathe out through your nose or else you will get water in it. The head first surface dive is useful because you can see where you are going better and you can use your arms and legs to help more easily.
