Can rigorous water work out make you physically stronger?
team captains must relate to everyone on the team. you organize cheers, support the weaker swimmers, organize team t-shirts etc.., organize team get togethers, make sure that the younger swimmers don't feel left out from the older ones, get everyone into cheering people on while their racing, providing help when a team member needs it, helping the coach out, make sure everyone is inline...and not misbehaving...and so on.Commercial diving in singapore?
Well the captin calls the drills and the start offs but they also organize the line-up of events depending apon weather the coach does it or not. I was a captain all 4 years in high school and thats all I did. A good cattain is fair to the swimmers and gives them the most one-on-one attention they can.Does any one know what is the minimum number of diver to go on a scuba dive ?
Captains (at least on my team) don't really do much. Our captains will tell everyone to dress up or wear their team t-shirt for the next day's meet but they do have some other responsibilities although they're pretty small. In a lot of cases captains will be some of the first people on the team phone chain in case of any sort of cancellation or anything. Normally a coach will call either the assistant coaches or the captains, depending on if your team has any assistants that need to be notified, and then from there the assistants either call the captains or you just go to the captains calling the rest of the kids. Some teams will have a senior > junior > sophomore > freshman chain where the captains/seniors call the juniors, the juniors call the sophomores and they call freshmen.
Some teams will also have captains lead stretches before meets or practice but other than that I've never seen any of our own captains do much else besides be really good swimmers.
Oh and another quick thing, it might just be our coach but I've also noticed a lot of smart kids get to be captains. My freshman year or last year our 2 main senior captains were both in National Honor Society and they were both really smart. This past year our captains were this one NHS member and one of the best swimmers in the state so he naturally got chosen as captain.
Whats the best speedo to wear..?
the captain makes sure everyone is doing their workout, warming up for a meet, and supporting everyone! hope that helps!you should hold pasta dinners before each meet or have people sign up to hold these. you should also sometime during the course of the season talk to or acknowlegde the entire tema. another good thing to do is to be at the end of the pool cheering for your team no matter what race is being swam. i know i personally like having people there because it helps me go faster.
congragulations and good luck!
What is the weather like in Vanuatu in July, any good for sun bathing and swimming?
Usually a captain is picked as a good example. My senior year, we had 3 captains: the two fastest swimmers and me. I didn't qualify for state or come close for that matter, but I didn't slack off during practice and I worked pretty hard in the off-season too. Other than that, the captains led stretches, organized team get-togethers (like pasta parties), and carried out the traditions of the team. A lot of times the coach will expect the captain to try to encourage the rest of the team to work harder if they start to get lazy before he or she comes in and does something about it.More Questions & Answers...
