that it is good to the depth of 30 metres i`cant swim that far down so how do i know this is true

The only way to test it would be to exert it to pressure equal to being 30M underwater.It is also worth noting that "water resistance" to a certain depth refers to a depth of still water.
If you are moving in the water, during swimming then this will increase the pressure on the watch. There is a better summary of this on the Seiko website:

In order for the watch manufacturer to claim this, the watch has to be submerged in cold still water to the appropriate depth for a predetermined length of time. You're right, though, you'll probably never go that deep. However, water resistance is usually a good indication of general durability. The deeper it goes, the tougher it is.it takes 30 m of water. So you cant swim in a pool
