My daughter has joined a swimming team and I would like to know is there any way I can keep her hair dry?

Y would u want her hair to be dry. Get a cap and get swimming shampoo to get the chlorine out of the hair. Also get some heavy conditioner to remoisten her hair since chlorine really dries it out. If youre concerened with her getting sick from walking out of the pool with hair wet and cold weather, dont be. Nothing will happen since u cant catch a cold or any other disease from weather.Why don't people ever think about swimming as a sport!?
Both latex and silicone caps will keep the hair relatively dry. Note the word "relatively."I don't believe there is any way to keep her hair dry, I was on my school swim team last year. The swim caps are only meant to reduce water resistance so she swims faster.
try different types and brands of caps
silicon, latex, ect.
tyr, speedo, ect.
never use a plastic bag. its dangerous as it could suffocate her. Try a silicone cap. They are thicker than the latex and keep all of the hair dry except usually the very bottom gets damp. Good Luck!

Try swim caps. They do help you swim faster and more smoothly, but depending on your skills on how to put the cap on, it might keep her hair partially dry. Not fully though. do the old fashioned swimming: head above water at all times. Oh and make sure she isn't swimming near ppl fooling around in the pool-- that'll get her hair wet for sure.come on she'll get her hair wet if she's swimming. EVERYONE does. if you're worried about the chlorine get her to wet her hair before she wears the swim cap so her hair has absorbed the water first. Pool water will stil get in but the damage will be lesser.
